Frontal review: services, focus, and alternatives
Frontal appears in our GTM engineering agency landscape as a GTM engineering and outbound agency: GTM engineering agency building signal-triggered outbound systems inside your existing stack.
What Frontal does
Frontal describes itself as the go-to-market partner for B2B tech companies past product-market fit, taking responsibility for qualified pipeline across channels. It runs five services: GTM Services (outbound, signal tracking and workflows), account-based marketing, paid media on LinkedIn and Google, content engineering built from founder and team interviews, and RevOps in HubSpot or Salesforce. Its case study pages say the work was built under ColdIQ Agency, which became Frontal in 2026 with the same operators. The site says it works inside the client's CRM and Slack.
- GTM Services: account targeting, buyer research, signal tracking and outbound
- Account-based marketing that coordinates ads and outbound on one account list
- Paid media on LinkedIn and Google, with CRM conversions sent back to the platforms
- Content engineering: founder and team LinkedIn posts and articles
- RevOps: CRM cleanup, lead routing, attribution and account tiers
Who Frontal fits
Frontal says it serves B2B tech companies past product-market fit. Its case studies range from teams of about 25 people, like Playbook, to companies with 200+ employees such as Teikametrics, and its client page lists larger names including Okta, GoFundMe, Dailymotion and Endava. It fits teams that want one partner running outbound, ads and content against the same target accounts, with results tracked as pipeline in their own CRM.
- Its site says Frontal has worked with 300+ companies.
- Its about page quotes Clay's partner team calling Frontal one of its top Elite Studio partners, and includes endorsements from lemlist and Instantly.
- Its case study pages say the work was built under ColdIQ Agency, which became Frontal in 2026.
- Tools named across its pages include HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, Smartlead, Instantly, Trigify, Fibbler and HockeyStack.
How Frontal works
The about page describes three steps. First, Frontal looks at who already buys from the client and where demand is real. Second, it researches and designs campaigns and wires them into the tools the client already uses, agreeing approach and messaging before launch. Third, it reports against measures set at the start and rebuilds what underperforms. The AirOps case study shows the pattern: a TAM cut into a tiered target account list scored on fit and readiness, engagement signals from Trigify, Clay, Fibbler and HockeyStack visible in HubSpot, and thought leader ads and outbound run against the same accounts. The RevOps service says changes are tested before going live and the client's team is trained to run them.
Its about page names Alex Vacca as founder and CEO and Kenny Damian as co-founder and head of GTM, with partners Soheil Saeidmehr, Ivan Falco and Dujam Dunato and a team of GTM engineers, content, ads and operations staff.
Published results and clients
These are Frontal's own claims from its website. We have not verified them independently.
- Its AirOps case study reports $7.83M in qualified pipeline and $1.52M in closed-won revenue in 10 months, with no new SDRs hired.
- Its site says Teikametrics got $300K+ in pipeline in nine months and 100+ hours back each month.
- Its Playbook case study reports 20 opportunities in the first 20 days and 300+ positive replies, with Playbook's team now running the system itself.
- Its site says Aircall moved 3,655 accounts into a self-refreshing TAM inside Salesforce in six months.
- Its case study list reports 650 positive replies in six months for Modash and about 100 meetings a month for Peoplelogic.
Engagement and pricing
Pricing is not published. The site says clients start with one of the five services and expand scope only when the work calls for it, with a pipeline goal agreed up front and results reviewed together regularly. Instead of a pitch, it offers to build a prospect's next 100 target accounts, each with a reason to reach out, free to keep.
How Frontal compares
GTM engineering and outbound agencies differ mostly in who owns the system afterward. Some run outbound for you as a managed service, others build the data, signal, and routing layer inside your own CRM and tools and hand it over. Ask which model you are buying, what you keep if you stop paying, and how results are measured.
Since Frontal's case studies were built under the ColdIQ Agency name, ask which of the named operators worked on them and who would run your account. The site promises senior operators you deal with directly, so confirm who that is and how many accounts they carry. Ask for the free 100 target accounts as a low-cost test of their research quality. If you only need outbound, check whether scope and price change when ads or content are left out.
